Dan Figueiredo, DMD

Dr. Dan Figueiredo is open, honest, and genuinely knows what it takes to help his patients feel at ease. His easy-going style of communication helps patients understand the status of their oral health and their oftentimes complex dental treatment options. Dr. Figueiredo is a talented artist and a highly gifted clinician who blends his creative skill with his extensive scientific knowledge to provide high-quality, efficient, patient-focused service to patients of all ages.

Following Dr. Figueiredo’s graduation from Tufts University School of Dentistry, he and his wife settled in Maine. He is an active member of The Academy of General Dentistry, regularly attends Dawson Academy, Spear Education, and Las Vegas Institute courses, and consistently attends continuing education courses because he wants to stay current on the latest and most advanced dental technology, research, and clinical methods.

Dr. Figueiredo’s enthusiasm for the outdoors and environmental conservation makes Maine the perfect state for him to own and operate his dental practice, spend time engaging in outdoor activities all year round, and remain a champion of Maine’s outdoor heritage. Dr. Figueiredo shoots Trap and Sporting Clays competitively year-round, and he serves on both Trap and Sporting Clays Committees in the state. In the summer, he and his wife enjoy fishing, paddle- boarding, and road biking. In the winter, they enjoy cross country skiing. They also love traveling and can’t wait to see where their next international journey takes them.

Cassidy Sye, DMD

Dr. Cassidy Sye is a passionate and dedicated dentist who brings a unique blend of professional experience and personal warmth to Thrive Dental Studio. Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Sye worked as a Dental Lab Technician for two years and later served as Head of Business and Development for a cidery in Massachusetts. These roles helped shape his meticulous attention to detail and his commitment to building strong relationships with his patients.

Dr. Sye’s love for dentistry goes beyond technical expertise; it’s driven by his desire to help people achieve their health goals. His philosophy centers around open communication and ethical dental practices, ensuring that every patient feels heard and involved in their treatment decisions. Dr. Sye is particularly passionate about making his patients feel confident about their appearance, and he strives to create a safe, anxiety-free environment where everyone feels comfortable and cared for.

In recognition of his clinical skills, Dr. Sye was awarded the prestigious “Implant Excellence Award” at Midwestern University. This accolade reflects his dedication to mastering advanced dental techniques and providing high-quality care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Sye enjoys an active lifestyle, spending his free time traveling, playing soccer and golf, exploring new restaurants, and indulging in outdoor activities like skiing and hiking. Whether he’s on the slopes or in the dental chair, his goal is the same: to build meaningful relationships and make people feel at ease.
